Problem Note 16478: Unable to copy to server error using the Import task in SAS® Enterprise Guide
The following error might be generated when importing a text or csv file
using SAS Enterprise Guide:
Unable to copy file to server.
The Import Data Task cannot copy this file to the server, and
therefore, cannot continue. Make sure you are able to connect to
your default server.
Reason: "Maximum line length exceeded. Current line exceeds 32767
characters.
To attempt to circumvent the problem, export the data to the SAS server
and use PROC IMPORT code similar to the following:
proc import out= sasuser.widedata
datafile= "c:\ats_daily_break.csv"
dbms=csv replace;
getnames=yes;
datarow=2;
run;
